In "2014 X Factor Australia" Grand Finals Night, Filipina-Aussie singer Marlisa Ann Punzalan won against finalists Dean Ray and Brothers 3.
Before Punzalan performed in stage, her mentor Ronan Keating bubbed her amazing voice as one in a million.
The fifteen year-old Filipina wowed audiences and received standing ovation from the judges after her awesome performance in her very first single, "Stand By You". Aside from her single, Punzalan also performed the "Yesterday," by Beatles and "Never Be the Same," which she duet with Australian R&B and pop singer Jessica Mauboy.
Marlisa Punzalan, daughter of two Filipino migrants, admitted that she was shy during her audition on the talent show. But because of her powerful voice, she wowed people and now she is the grand champion in the 2014 X Factor Australia.
